Social media music video project

Referring to either the above website, or another you know of that employs
crowdsourcing, briefly discuss whether or not you think this is innovative in terms of social media, produsage and crowdsourcing. Refer to concepts introduced this week in the lecture and course resources. If you use another site be sure to provide a link in your blog.
http://oneframeoffame.com/

This site clearly employs crowd sourcing because it invites a lot to its member to send them pictures to complete their vast amount of contributions which are innovative as compared to pro usage and social media for example: In this website each member has to send a picture to them which make them to complete their contribution of the making of the movie from image this technique involved social media which is a lot of people meeting to ask for that suggestion of the photo's and crowdsourcing which is a lot of people sending their photos which will be converted i on to the video. From my point of view this idea is innovative because if the collage of images into video and it is free for people who join this site.

DGLTL12002 week 3

In 2009 CumminsNitro, a Brisbane-based advertising agency won multiple awards
across the international media landscape for their groundbreaking campaign for
Tourism Queensland: Best Job in the World. The campaign was unique in the way it harnessed traditional media advertising (positions vacant advertising) and linked this with various kinds of social media interactivity. Through inviting video applications the campaign utilised what Bruns calls “produsage” and others have called “crowdsourcing”. It also made sophisticated use of the viral connectivity that can result from online social networking. Then, once the social media success became newsworthy, the campaign also benefitted from the traditional current affairs media attention, amplifying the overall impact and effect. This campaign continues to attract attention through a blog maintained by the successful applicant.
Visit the links provided and discuss in your tutorial group or online. Write review
analysing the types of interactivity that the campaign engaged.
Once again use screen captures and your own words to document and interpret what you see. Note that if you do copy statements from a web site these must be in
quotation marks and the source URL referenced.

There are three types of interactivity involved in this video. These interactivity are easily catch the people attention like job description is different languages in which different kind of the people from different nationality can understand it. In this advertisement the basic idea is to promote the tourism industry of the Queensland because it the place which is very famous for its natural coral reef and naturally preserved island. This job was called best job in thew world because it all need to do to feed the fish , and clean the pool and get paid 100.000 dollar.

DGLTL12002 week 2

Choose at least two out of the six of the following terms of reference to make further
comments about the site you have been reviewing and the services it offers:
• Trustworthiness (of the site)
• Reputation (of members)
• Ownership (of content)
• Moderation
• Management of content
• User interface and customisation.

According to the the question i have chosen trustworthiness and user interface

Trustworthiness: Facebook is certainly a good interactive website but it has some sort of privacy issues as well like for example: some one who are addicted to Facebook can update his/her daily status update min by min. This also make him/her insecure because every one knows his her daily personal routine. Also if you put your address on Facebook anyone can search you and find your him

• User interface and customization.: Facebook has user friendly and good interference. for example: if has a blue color which does not confuse a user and it is easily to use as well. Also it make the search user friendly and easily for user to use it. User can make their Facebook profile more personal by customizing pictures , information ,artworks. Other site offer more interface customization like blogger.com such as color , banner, header and photo.

DGLTL12002 week 1

Choose a social media site that you are a member of and say why you engage with it and what you get out of it. If you are not a member of any site, choose one to observe and answer the same question regarding the activities that you observe – or, you may choose to say why you do not normally engage with social media. You are encouraged to use your answers to exercise 1.3 to frame your response.?

According to the question I have chosen Facebook, because it is interactive, and creative in the sense of social networking. It has a lot of application like games, brain Tester, and you can upload your video to share with your friends anywhere in the world. It is just a virtual room in which we are chatting, playing, sharing, the ideas and thoughts all over the world not only this you can do business on it like marketing a product to sell so other people all over the world can see it and contact you. But every good site has some disadvantage as well. Regarding Facebook it has been struggling with lot of privacy issues. It is a very interactive website you can chat and add friends or else you can all do blogging and play online games, you can share the question for peoples to answer that you confused you.

For example if you have a problem with your studies you can put a question on your profile that everyone can see and respond to if they can help
